Beach
The Serenè Village has a long, wide, sandy beach which slopes gently toward the Ionian Sea. It is located about 300m from the resort and can be accessed through an alley that unravels through a thick eucalyptus wood. Situated in the Gulf of Squillace, the beach – which is 40m wide and 400m long - is the ideal place for your holiday in Calabria. Umbrellas are arranged at a distance of 4m from each other, both lengthwise and crosswise to the sea. Beach Description. The beach is equipped with a bar, umbrellas, deckchairs, sun loungers, showers, changing huts, toilets, and pedaloes. It is accessible to people with reduced mobility and beach wheelchairs - also suitable for use in shallow water – are available. Beach towels can be hired and purchased upon request. Sea. Crystal clear waters and a sandy seabed are its major features; there are no rocks. Sea bathing is safe up to 2m from the shore, where water is only 30cm deep, whilst at a distance of 5m, it is 70cm deep (analysis last updated on August 2007, seabed features may vary in time). Bather supervision is available during the hours specified on the signs located in the beach area, pursuant to the Harbour Office’s Bathing Regulations Boats. sailing boats (except when group classes are provided), windsurf boards, canoes, and pedaloes are available to all guests. Winds. The sirocco and the north winds provide ideal conditions for practicing any sailing sport and are appreciated by bathers and sailors seeking relief from the heat. |
